Montville, New Jersey (Nov. 21, 2019) – RE/MAX SELECT Pine Brook agents presented a check for $2,000 to Kyle Gauweiler, a 15-year-old and sophomore at Montville Township High School, who recently battled brain cancer. The check was presented to Kyle and his family on Nov. 21, 2019. RE/MAX Pine Brook agents donated proceeds from each closed sale to help raise the funds.
Kyle’s fight began in May 2018 when a trip to the ER for a migraine revealed a cancerous brain tumor, which was soon removed through surgery. He then spent a year enduring extensive treatments of radiation and chemotherapy. Kyle has experienced many challenges due to the tumor and treatment. Through hard work, dedication and physical therapy, Kyle continues to thrive. Kyle was unable to attend school for his freshman year, but now attends Montville Township High School. He enjoys being with friends again.
The donations from RE/MAX SELECT Pine Brook will help Kyle and his family. The Pine Brook agents raised $1,500 of the $2,000 donation. RE/MAX SELECT donated the remaining $500.
